Our New Home

This is the place. Kiana's room.

Dougy Doug's room. (He is working through some asthma problems right now; bless his heart).

The master bath (cubby hole)
The Guest bath.
Our front room. So empty.
MY WHITE KITCHEN!!! DOUBLE OVENS!!!!!

The kitchen is joined by a small family room.
This window looks out onto our backyard and the glorious mountains.
Our new couches and rug.
The breakfast area.
The biggest storage room in the world. No excuse for pitiful food storage anymore.
Our Media Room. (AKA "The Lair")
We love this house so much. We wanted an older home in newer home condition and we found it. It has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a white kitchen, a gigantic backyard and a "lair." We have been having so much fun decorating and gardening and feel truly blessed to be in our own home... finally!

I love, love, love all of your cabinet space in your kitchen. Isn't it funny how you really value different parts of a house as you age? As a teenager I would've died to have a swimming pool and now, with small kids, I absolutely don't want one. I too have white cabinets and I like how they can pop, but I'm sure you'll soon discover they are a bit high maintenance with small, dirty hands touching everything. The house has great colors as well. How fun. You picked a great one. OH, and I'm jealous of your vacation. Sooo wonderful.

Holy crap! I can't wait to get back! What a beautiful house! It all looks great! Sorry to hear about Doug's asthma! After having it the past 2 months as a part of allergies, I can not imagine having it permanently!!! btw Boston and Doug had the cutest conversation on the phone today! Miss you guys! xoxo

I'm just a little bit coveting your house right now. IT'S GORGEOUS! Congratulations! We should definitely play. We're in Alpine...not too far away. How's being a home owner?
